Tour of Capital Music Center Who is Capital Music Center? We are a piano store located in Austin, Texas. We are the exclusive authorized Roland Home Piano Dealer for the Austin-Metro area. Our customers typically purchase from us for their home, church, school, piano teaching studio, and for educational use.   The products we have for sale include Digital Pianos, Keyboards, Music Tutors, Music Software, and Print Music Books.   We also specialize in teaching private or group piano and keyboard lessons for ages 4 to 94. Capital Music Center opened for business on February 13, 1988 and is locally owned and operated by Ron and Cherrie. We are located on 6101 Burnet Rd at Koenig Ln (2222) in the Northwest Shopping Center. Our normal store hours are: M-Th 10 to 6:30, Fri & Sat 10 to 5 This is our new Roland Foresta Display, installed March 2011, featuring the largest display of Roland Digital Pianos in the U.S.A.! We teach private and group piano lessons using state of the art digital pianos and technology patterned after the University of Texas at Austin Class Piano Department. Just like a computer can help you learn to type, a Roland Music Tutor or Roland Digital Piano with the Music Tutor built-in can help you learn to play. Since 1988, Capital Music Center has sponsored Professional Development Seminars, like this one with Martha Hilley from UT-Austin, for teachers integrating technology into traditional teaching methods. The Roland KR-1070 Digital Intelligent Grand Piano recently sold and installed in Dr. Malcolm Brown's home in Austin (note: He purchased the first Roland KR-1070 in the USA in December, 1997) Largest shipment of Roland Pianos ever received at Capital Music Center at one time on August 4, 2010
