Linda Piano Faculty, Hill Elementary After School Piano Teacher After
graduating from “I believe that music education is an intricate part of every child‘s education. In all my classes, I try to stress the importance of each student participating in a positive and productive manner. All students need to know that someone really cares about them. These kids figure out that I really do care and these children obtain a sense of self-discipline, self-esteem, and commitment. These attributes will then be extended into other facets of their lives.” Ms. Linda loves teaching piano in the group setting. The students are encouraged to participate as a “team” and through “team-participation”; students get a better perspective on the challenges of learning to play, they receive peer encouragement, they learn faster by observing the teaching process. When a student experiences positive outcomes in the classroom, it instills pride of performance. Linda and
her husband Scott have three grown children, a granddaughter, and enjoy their
recently acquired cabin in Here’s what Mrs. Linda’s students have to say about her: “We love the lessons and who could not love Linda! We are so glad that we rented and then purchased the Roland Digital Piano you recommended. We can’t imagine a piano any other way!!!” –Kim and Bill B, proud parents of Spencer & Savannah “Sebastian loves the lessons because of his teacher. Ms. Linda is an absolute gem. She is fantastic! He now has enough piano skills to play fun music like Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.” –Stacy T, proud parent “Thank you so much for everything. Reagan really enjoys his piano lessons. I know that you are a big part of his interest in staying with his lessons. The performances by all of the children were delightful. They did so well and looked so proud of themselves. You should be very proud as well! Thank you for being a great teacher.” -Laura M a.k.a. Reagan’s Mom |
